Stock futures were up modestly Thursday following a plunge on Wall Street Wednesday after the Federal Reserve reduced interest rates by a quarter point but signaled it expects to make two cuts in 2025, down from projections of four made at the central bank’s meeting in September. The Dow Jones Industrial Average sank 1,123 points for its 10th-straight daily decline, the blue chip index’s longest losing streak since 1974.
